As a new resident to the area, I had the unfortunate experience of the garage door spring breaking. I noticed my neighbor had service recently completed by Precision Garage Door. I called the number provided off of the website and was greeted by a friendly "Nick" who was very prompt in answering the call and providing a service request between noon and 2 pm for the same day. I was advised that Jerry would be calling prior to his arrival. Sure enough Jerry called shortly after noon and said his arrival time would be within 15 minutes. Jerry Eldreth was extremely polite and very informative after observing and evaluating both of my garage door openers, rails and all moving parts. The obvious replacement of the one door spring was required but Jerry ensured both door systems were in good working order, lubricated everything, made proper adjustments and had me up and running on the broken side within an hour of his arrival. The previous homeowner failed to leave literature behind as to the age of both openers, but Jerry was able to advise manufacture dates and provide a pretty good estimate as to installation based on the age of the home. Excellent work and well-versed technician. Top notch service by Jerry

Precision quickly, courteously, and expertly did a minor repair to our garage door. The door got bent at the bottom with a hit from our car before the door was completely up. Precision's "book online" feature was easy to use and brought us a technician in 4 hours who gave us options and then did the repair to get us functional. Jerry Eldreth was knowledgeable and respectful. He gave options, but no pressure (which I had braced for!) for a new door--even though ours is 30 years old. When its time for a new door--or another repair--we'll gladly go back to Precision. They're doing business right!

Chad Lahue was the service technician who checked and repaired my garage door. It was easy to see why Chad was rated as highly as he is. He explained what the potential causes were, and he suggested what to keep an eye on in the future. He was very honest with his suggestions on the options which were available to me to address the issue. Incredibly responsive and polite. Kenny even took the time to explain how to work on my other door myself. Discovered I had a broken door spring, so I gave Precision a call. Josh Finkbeiner was the tech who came out to my place to take a look at what I needed. Not only did he come out the same day, but he had everything needed to do the job in his truck already! This is an old door from back when JFK was in office, and it gave Josh a run for his money, keeping him here way later than he wanted to, but he finished the job with a smile. Excellent service, great work, and good people. Can't ask for more than that! I'll definitely be using them in the future (hopefully to get rid of this dinosaur of a door).

Jerry responded to our house within 4 hours of my phone call after our garage door was damaged. He was very professional and polite. He answered all of our questions and gave us a very reasonable estimate to have our door replaced. We will be purchasing 2 new garage doors due to the quality of the customer service provided. It's hard to find a company that provides small town customer service in this area, but Precision Door did just that. If you want to feel like a valued customer, contact Precision Door. Benji (my technician) was great - but what is very upsetting is that it was less than a year ago that I spent close to $3000.00 for a new garage door. The rollers had to be replaced because they were defective - why would you use rollers of such low quality. Benji said that the upgraded roller and spring package should have been offered to me at the time of the sale. I don't recall that they were but even if they were - why would Precision even put something of that quality on the door to begin with. Based on Benji recommendation I had him replace the rollers and spring to hopefully ensure that there would be no further issues. Having to spent another $400.00 was not in my budget - I am on a fixed income. When I replaced the garage door last November it was my expectation that I would not need to have any service or spend anymore money for a really long time.

Hello Lorraine, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! I want to bring light to surface for our viewers this way our readers can have full transparency. Benji is an excellent tech who is very thorough as you have experienced. Here at Precision Door we use top of the line brands for our door installs. Your specific order had a 3 year warranty on the manufactured parts. They are not, "such low quality" parts. They are the same quality parts that every company in our service area uses. These are the parts the manufacturer gives to dealers when we buy their door. 1-2 springs, 2 cables, 2 drums, 3 bearings, and 10 rollers. Precision Door is however the only company that offers a high cycle package when buying a door for as low as $400.00 with a 10 year warranty. When servicing a door, which is what the services we provided and the service you are reviewing about. The prices to replace all these parts are higher. Benji did give you the option to replace these parts under warranty for only the price of our service fee of $79.00 To which you declined this option, and decided to move forward with the parts upgrade. To which we honored the pricing as if it was originally purchased with the door, as well as honored the 10 year warranty from Sept 2023, and not November 2022 (originally install date). This way, you would not have been charged any more then when you originally purchased the door. We understand the manufactured parts failing while under warranty is not what you or us expected, we did offer to cover the parts under warranty and we were instructed by you to move forward with the parts upgrades for the original cost.
